> About the Lyceum Theatre

Auditorium The large capacity auditorium makes this theatre ideal for events working on a grander scale and wanting to impress. The dark wood and deep red colour schemes create a traditional and opulent feel, perfect for high-profile presentations, conferences, lectures and awards. The clear pre-set and sizeable stage are perfect for bigger showcases, although please note that there is no technical flexibility, and hirers will have to work around the existing production’s set up. Now home to one of London’s best-loved shows, the auditorium plays host to a multitude of conferences and presentations.

The auditorium is only available for hire on Mondays, due to commitments to the current production.

Ambassador Lounge

Opened by Prince Charles and used by Mrs Obama, this stylish space is ideal for smaller events such as formal meetings and play-readings. Boasting its own private entrance and serving area, the Ambassador Lounge creates an air of intimate exclusivity; the recent refurbishment making it a calm and pleasant environment for discussion, as well as an elegant space for an evening event.

 The Ballroom

In 1945, after six years of isolation, the Lyceum Theatre was filled with colour as it was converted into a grand auditorium to create the ‘Palais de Dance’. The ballroom may be long gone but this stylish concktail bar, complete with chandelier, echoes the elegant grandeur of the Lyceum’s history. The Ballroom is a perfect space for a formal evening event and a uniqie venue for a daytime reception. It also acts as a useful breakout space for larger auditorium hires.
