About the Duke Of York’s Theatre

Auditorium

The spectacular Victorian auditorium is decorated in gold, cream and taupe colours. Beautiful images of cherubs, maidens, dragons and other wind related imagery fill the stunning space. The medium sized capacity feels wonderfully intimate, and creates a flexible space, able to accommodate a range of events, from smaller hires such as workshops and play-readings, to larger showcases and conference hires.

Foyer The theatre’s large, airy foyer, ornately decorated with gilded mirrors, makes an impressive entrance to the venue, and is often used as a location for photo-shoots. The size of the space, complete with its own cloakroom and kiosk, makes it ideal for standing receptions, or for use as an additional break-out space when hiring the auditorium.

This flexible space is ideal for larger seated meetings, whilst the adjoining Equity room can be used as a smaller break-out space.
